The Clyde Cruising Club executive committee has met to discuss the Covid-19 outbreak.  The safety of members, as always, is our key priority and the Exec team will be monitoring on a regular basis the impact that COVID-19 may have on Club events and indeed our ability to run these safely and responsibly.  With the developing spread of Coronavirus (Covid-19) and as our members and event participants begin to make preparations for the season ahead we want to reassure you that we are closely monitoring the situation and will act in the best interests of those involved with the Club and in line with governing body and government advice.

At the time of writing the general guidance is for business as usual with additional focus on undertaking activities to reduce the spread of the virus.  The Clyde Cruising Club do not intend at this point to make any changes to our 2020 programme.  As information from authorities changes we will update this page with amendments.  In relation to larger events (over 500 participants) the Scottish government has advised that they should be cancelled where they require frontline health services.  As no Clyde Cruising Club events require frontline health services we are not, at this stage, cancelling larger events such as the Scottish Series.  Please monitor this page for weekly updates as the situation progresses.
